Proxies
Ich untersuche marine Sedimente und wende folgende palynologische Proxies an:
Organisch-wandige Dinoflagellatenzysten (Fotos 1-3)
--> werden in der Wassersäule produziert und reflektieren die Umweltbedingungen im Ozean.
Pollen und Sporen (Fotos 4-6)
--> werden vom Land ins Meer transportiert und reflektieren die klimatischen und hydrologischen Bedingungen
In Kombination ermöglichen diese beiden Proxies komplexe paläoklimatische Rekonstruktionen.
Organisch-wandige Dinoflagellatenzysten (Fotos 1-3)
--> werden in der Wassersäule produziert und reflektieren die Umweltbedingungen im Ozean.
Pollen und Sporen (Fotos 4-6)
--> werden vom Land ins Meer transportiert und reflektieren die klimatischen und hydrologischen Bedingungen
In Kombination ermöglichen diese beiden Proxies komplexe paläoklimatische Rekonstruktionen.
