(Crisis) Support

It is common to encounter challenges at your work place, with your research or related to your work-life balance. For scientists, failures and drawbacks are an immanent part of research, and every scientist has to tackle them. Communicating those challenges is part of the process of gaining new scientific knowledge. Also in other parts of (working) life, we encounter problems here and there.

research work

At MARUM, we are aware that challenges and problems are a normal part of life. Especially the early stages of a scientific career are often accompanied by a lot of stress and pressure - to which people react differently. But also being in the role of the supervisor, advisor or mentor can be quite challenging. It may not always be obvious to you what your mentee needs and you have to oversee several people and projects at the same time.

counselling

We are doing our best to provide an atmosphere in which you can speak about any difficulties openly and without any taboo. We would like to encourage you to seek advice, counselling or any other kind of help anytime you need it.
