U-Pb dating of carbonate veins in Cretaceous to Neogene oceanic crust.

2014-2015: Visiting researcher at MARUM in collaboration with Goethe University Frankfurt.

Development and application of U-Pb in situ laser ablation ICP-MS dating to carbonate veins.

2012-2014: Postdoctoral Fellow at the Geology Department, Memorial University, Newfoundland.

U-Pb in situ laser ablation ICP-MS dating of zircons, monazites and titanites in pegmatites from the Grenville Province, Canada.

2008-2012: Research Laboratory Associate at Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation at Memorial University, Newfoundland.

Characterization of the Voisey's Bay Ni-Cu-S ore deposit in Labrador using the Datamine software and Pearce Element Ratios.

2006-2008: Postdoctoral Fellow at the Geology Department, Memorial University, Newfoundland.

Designed and developed fluid dynamic experiments to investigate the transport  characteristics of sulfide segregations in the Voisey's Bay ore deposit.

2001-2005: Research Assistant Fellow at the Geology Department at John's Hopkins University, Maryland.

Study the geochemical evolution of silicic segregations in the Ferrar Dolerite Sills, Antarctica.

1998: Summer Student Fellow at the Department of Terrestrial Magnetism, Carnegie Institution of Washington, DC.

Study Boron content and boron isotopic composition of Mid-Oceanic Ridge Basalt glasses from the East Pacific Rise 15-17°N.

1997: Summer Student Fellow at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Woods Hole MA.

Study the petrology, structure and morphological relationships between Intra-Transform Spreading Centeres at the Siqueiros Transorm Fault, East Pacific Rise.

Expeditions

*2003: Austral summer season in the Dry Valley Region, Antarctica mapping and sampling silicic segregations in the Ferrar Dolerite Sills, through the United States Antarctic Program.

*2001: Austral summer season in the Dry Valley Region, Antarctica mapping and sampling  the Ferrar Dolerite Sills and the Dais intrusion, through the United States Antarctic Program.

*1997: Research Assistant at Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, New York. Worked aboard the RV/ Melville during Panorama Leg 1 to East Pacific Rise to investigate hydrothermal plume signals, using the Miniature Autonomous Plume Recorder (MAPR) to collect nephalometry, temperature and density data in the water column.

*1996: Research Assistant at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Woods Hole MA. Worked aboard the R/V Knorr to the Lucky Strike, Mid Atlantic Ridge to investigate correlations between magnetic anomalies and hydrothermal vent activity using on board magnetometer data.
