Quaternary sea level, coastal geomorphology, neotectonics, carbonate diagenesis, GIS, amino acid racemisation
About Me
I have always had an affinity for science, resulting in a broad science background with degrees in animal science (BSc), environmental science (MSc), and earth science (PhD). I am a field geologist with interest in the development of coastlines as influenced by Quaternary sea level fluctuation, oscillations of global climate, and neotectonics. My research experience includes the use of morphostratigraphy, petrography, and carbonate sedimentology. I am proficient in the geochronological method of amino acid racemization and ArcMap. My current focus is on the refinement of the last interglacial sea-level highstand record.
