Research interests

I am a paleoceanographer utilizing various proxy methods to decipher past ocean and climate conditions recorded in marine sediments. My main focus lies on the reconstruction of past warm climate conditions during the Cenozoic using clumped isotope thermometry.

Calibration of the clumped isotope thermometer in foraminifera as a tool for paleoceanography

Combination and evaluation of different proxies in Cenozoic sediment records
Plio-Pleistocene temperature evolution of the Indo-Pacific Warm Pool
Late Oligocene deep-sea temperatures and 𝛿¹⁸O seawater composition
