PhD Project

My PhD project is part of the ArcTrain program. The goal is to understand the fate and impact of deglacial meltwater runoff in the northwestern Atlantic Ocean.

Professional Experience

Since 2017

PhD student in paleoceanography modeling : fate and impact of deglacial meltwater runoff in the northwestern Atlantic Ocean.
MARUM, Universität Bremen. Thesis committee : A. Paul, M. Losch,
M. Schulz, S. Marshall, S. Mulitza

2016 (5 months)

Internship in physical oceanography : quantifying the westen
boundary current in the Arabian Sea.
Scripps Intitution of Oceanography (SIO). Supervisor : J. Sprintall

2015 (2 months)

Internship in physical modeling : estimation of turbulence coefficient based
on a comparison between field observations and the spiral model in the
Ekman bottom layer.
