GLOMAR Monthly Research Seminar

30 October 2020 13.00 - 14.30 online via Zoom

It is in the nature of (most) research, that we produce all kinds of data. This data needs to be stored, made available, interpreted, manipulated, visualised and presented. There are plenty of tools and methods to do so, learning them can be quite time consuming. It can therefore be motivating and increase efficiency to get into an exchange with colleagues.

In this seminar, GLOMAR members will talk about the data they produce and the methods and tools they use to interpret and visualise it. Those who are interested can join in small peer groups to learn from each other and maybe even start collaborations and joint publications.

Topics inlcude:

  • What kind of data GLOMAR members are producing and which methods and tools they use to interpret and visualise itwill be introduced by Serra Örey and Nikolas Römer-Stange
  • Working with QGISwill be introduced by Ameris Contreras
