What consequences could climate change have on key biogeochemical processes in the Benguela upwelling system off South West Africa? This question is the subject of a new research project involving scientists from the MARUM – Center for Marine Environmental Sciences at the University of Bremen. Dr. Matthias Zabel will lead an expedition to the study area in August and September 2019.
