For the second time, the Klaus Tschira Foundation had invited to Explore Science, the natural science experience days, in Bremen's Bürgerpark. From Thursday, September 5 to Saturday, September 7, everything revolved around the theme of "time" and attracted 9,000 visitors to explore, experience and discover the park.

The MARUM – Center for Marine Environmental Sciences at the University of Bremen  approached the topic from a geoscientific perspective. How old is the earth? Since when has life existed on Earth? How slow are natural climate fluctuations? Children and young people could research the answers to these questions at three stations and get a feeling for the course of time.

Highlights of Explore Science can be viewed on Youtube.
