The third cohort of PhD students enrolled in the MARUM’s international Research Training Group ArcTrain started now with a kick-off meeting. Twelve new PhD-students from five nations are joining the German-Canadian training program. Their interdisciplinary research projects will contribute to the understanding of processes and impacts of climate change in the Arctic and North Atlantic realm. In the coming years they will participate in excursions, training workshops and research stays at the Canadian partner institutions.
