| Due to space restrictions in the archives, places are limited to 4 PhD students per graduate school. |

| 10.15 – 12.30 | Guided tour of the German Maritime Museum and its Historical Archives |
| 12.30 – 13.30 | Lunch at the Deutsches Auswandererhaus |
| 13.30 – approx. 15.00 | Introduction to the Archive for German Polar Research |
