Showing new paths between art and science - this is the aim of the exhibition by the artist Armin Linke (Berlin). In cooperation with the MARUM and the GEOMAR (Kiel), Armin Linke presents - as a preview to larger exhibitions - how deep sea-images not only serve science, but become art itself. The material for the exhibition in the Edith-Russ-Haus, Oldenburg, stems from dives with remotely operated vehicles. The deep-sea surveys are supplemented by interview films in which researchers explain their research topic. The exhibition closes on September 24 and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research within the framework of the Science Year 2016 * 17.
