Bremen shows its maritime character at the Maritime Week. The state of Bremen is not only maritime, but also a science location. Therefore there will be lectures in the House of Science. From 18th to 21st of September at 6 and at 7.30 pm, talks revolve around new technologies, the relationship between sea and space, and conflict management.
The highlight of the Maritime Week is the research mile on Saturday and Sunday, 23 and 24 September. Between 10 am and 6 pm the MARUM and other research facilities from Bremen present their research topics at the Untere Schlachte on the banks of the Weser river.
