On expedition off South Africa

Until February 27th MARUM scientists are on an expedition onboard the research vessel METEOR off the southern coast of Africa. On this scientific and educational cruise they want to obtain sea-floor sediments as a climate archive to reconstruct the regional climate development over the past 25,000 years.
