The ocean floor is the focus of the MARUM pavilion at the “Forschungsmeile” during Maritime Week. Together with the “Haus der Wissenschaft”, we present the research at MARUM, which is also the topic of the current exhibition in Haus der Wissenschaft.

In the deep-sea cinema, interested visitors can dive down to the seafloor and explore the hotspots and oases of life in the deep sea.

The research mile of the Maritime Week presents the scientific competence of the state of Bremen at the Schlachte. Over two days, more than 15 institutions – including MARUM – present their research to the public in a comprehensible and hands-on way.

When? Saturday and Sunday, 24 and 25 September, from 10 am to 6 pm

Where? Untere Schlachte, between Youth hostel and Teerhofbrücke
