Integrated into the special exhibition on maritime services, the International Maritime Museum Hamburg (IMMH) is also showing panels on a MARUM expedition that led the international team with the research vessel METEOR to South Georgia. Here, scientists searched for methane gas sources. Interested visitors will find details on the background of the cruise, the research area and the geological characteristics of the region on two display boards. The exhibition is open until August 31.
