Project IC 29 Sediment stability and (re)mobilisation in coastal areas of Germany and New Zealand

Innovative Cone Penetration Tests (CPT): Testing and Development of new CPT measuring techniques: FluMu
To identify characteristic parameters signatures (from precipitation, storm wave loading, tidal forcing, etc.) for deposition, remobilisation, and landsliding.
To compare in situ data, as to be obtained with the in situ seafloor penetrometers or long-term installations, with predicted pore pressure trends from numerical models in order to identify relationships is episodicity or seasonal variability
