On its tour within the Year of Science 2016*17 ›Seas and Oceans‹ the exhibition barge ›MS Wissenschaft‹ visits in 2017 cities in southern Germany. The interactive exhibition on board gives insights in different marine environments and the varied work of marine researchers.

This year visitors can go on a research expedition on MS Wissenschaft: They dive into the mysterious world of the seas and oceans, explore habitats such as coastal and offshore waters, the deep sea or the Arctic and get insights into the varied work of researchers.
