In-Situ Camera

The In-Situ Camera (ISC) consists of an infrared camera that is connected to a single board computer and is equipped with a fixed focal length lens (16 mm). The illumination was provided by an infrared LED array placed in front of the camera. The system is meant to be deployed in profiling mode, but is also used for deployments with drifting traps at a certain depth for roughly 24hrs.

As the first camera development of the HYIG SEAPUMP it is in service since almost the beginning and is still a workhorse on expeditions.
