Call for Sessions
We are pleased to invite you to take part in the GeoBremen 2017, a Joint Meeting of DGGV and DMG, that will be held in Bremen, Germany, from the 24th to 29th September 2017.
Under the theme „The System Earth and its Materials – from Seafloor to Summit“ GeoBremen 2017 provides a multidisciplinary stage with a focus on the exciting topics of the Earth and Material Sciences.
We are now calling for sessions.
Your contributions are welcome until 10 January 2017. Especially proposal submissions dealing with the following related sub-themes are encouraged:

Your contributions are welcome until 10 January 2017. Especially proposal submissions dealing with the following related sub-themes are encouraged:
- Dynamic Earth – from the interior to the surface
- Rates and processes in magmatic and metamorphic systems
- Geosphere-biosphere-interactions
- Solid-liquid-interface reactions
- Earth history and global change
- Early Earth and evolution of planets
- Sedimentary systems
- Applied geosciences
- Energy, materials, resources
- Education and museums
- We will also provide an „Open session“ block
Please include in your proposal a session title, clarify the goals and relevance of the session, and name a session organizer.
Session proposals will be selected by the Scientific Committee on the basis of merit and the need to organize a well-balanced programme and according to the following criteria: relevance, novelty/innovation, and scientific quality of the session.
With the end of January 2017 you will be notified regarding acceptance of the session and will receive further information.
The call for abstracts will follow.
