GLOMAR PhD students who wish to learn or improve their German, are welcome to participate in language classes which are organised for employees of MARUM and MPI Bremen. Further information and a registration form can be found on the following web page:

Other languages

The Foreign Languages Centre Bremen (Fremdsprachenzentrum) offers classes in most European languages but also in e.g. in Hindi or Chinese. Classes are open to all employees of the University at their own cost.

The Centre also offers courses for scientists including "Academic Writing Skills", "Presentation Skills", and "Conference Communication".
