Contact

As a public corporation, the University of Bremen is a formal partner in EU projects. Department 12 "Research and Young Scientists" provides the latest information. The competent contact person is Ms. Silke Reinold.

Declaration of conformity

In Research and Training Networks (RTN), employees must provide evidence of their employment to the European Commission via the EU department (see above). This is done with the Declaration of Conformity.

Separated accounting

A university carries out both economic and non-economic activities. An EU regulation (the so-called “Community framework for state aid for research, development and innovation”; abbriviated: “EU aid framework”) now demands that economic activities must not be subsidized at the expense of non-economic ones.

To prevent this, an institution that carries out both types of activities must strictly separate them from one another within its accounting system - hence the term “separated accounting”.

Whether the relevant regulations are being adhered to, must be regularly examined by an (business) auditing company and confirmed in the annual financial statements.

Unfortunately, further information is only available in German here.

Also, the relating documentation to the right is only available in German. There is:

  • Brief information on submitting an application in FPR 7 and filling out the application forms (electronic proposal submission system EPSS)
  • The data for the partner UNIVERSITAET BREMEN for completing the Grant Agreement Preparation Forms (GPF)
  • Current work programs and calls for proposals for the EU frame program
