The conference will take place at Haus der Wissenschaft, the House of Science, a place designed to promote understanding and appreciation towards science to the broader community in and around Bremen.
Haus der Wissenschaft is situated right in the city centre, in the pedestrian part of the old town. It is easy to reach by foot if you are staying in the centre or with public transport (trams 4, 5, 6, 8 or bus 24 and 25, stop Schüsselkorb)
Bremen is a major cultural and economic hub in the northern region of Germany. It is home to dozens of historical galleries and museums and a large number of multinational companies and manufacturing centres including the Hachez chocolate company and Becks brewery. Four-time German football champions Werder Bremen are also based in the city.
