Johanna Wanka, Federal Minister of Education and Research, now announced the Year of Science 2016/17. Under the motto "Seas and Oceans - Discovering, Using, Protecting" many activities are currently planned to inform the general public about a broad range of topics related to the ocean. The Year of Science will last from summer 2016 to fall 2017. MARUM will be involved in several activities to foster the dialog between research and society. more...
