A team led by chief scientist Nicole Dubilier studies deep-sea hot springs on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge called hydrothermal vents. The submersible vehicle MARUM-QUEST is with them on board the research vessel METEOR. A video blog gives insights into the work and life on board the research vessel.
