Eight participants have now deepened their theoretical and practical knowledge in the use of remotely operated vehicles in a workshop. The participants trained in the simulator for the ROV MARUM-QUEST as well as in the diving pool with the ROV MARUM-SQUID how a ROV is controlled. The contents also include mobilization and dive preparations.

The workshop is organized as part of the EurofleetsPlus project funded by the European Commission. To this end, marine research institutes and, for example, operators of research vessels have formed an alliance, including the University of Bremen.
