Marine biologist and symbiosis researcher Prof. Dr. Nicole Dubilier, Director at the Max Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology in Bremen, received an Excellence Professorship from the Prof. Dr. Werner-Petersen Foundation for her scientific achievements. Nicole Dubilier is also vice spokeswoman of the Cluster of Excellence 'The Ocean Floor – Earth’s Uncharted Interface' at MARUM - Center for Marine Environmental Sciences and since 2012 she is Professor for Microbial Symbiosis at the University of Bremen.
