The contest

At the beginning of the contest students, graduate scientists and young researchers could develop projects for the topic seas and oceans. The projects have to show the public science in an understandable way and explain recent research findings.

"Wissenschaft im Dialog" searches for innovative ways of communication that show how solutions and rudiments can be made through science and research and how humans can discover, utilize and protect our seas and oceans.

The 15 best projects were honored with a prize money as high as 10,000€ so they can manifest their ideas. Also they won a workshop teaching different ways of science communication. Our project "Once Upon a Time" is one of the 15 winner projects.
