New working group at MARUM

Under the direction of PD Dr. Martin Könneke, the new working group Archaeal Life in the Ocean began their investigations at MARUM in November. The scientists want to investigate a special group of marine microorganisms, the archaea. The research is partially financed by the Könnekes Heisenberg Fellowship funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft.
