May 27, 2022
The exhibition
The exhibition "Meer erleben" can currently be seen in Magdeburg.

The climate and how it is changing is the focus of a special exhibition at the “LWL Museum für Naturkunde” in Münster, in which MARUM – Center for Marine Environmental Sciences is also involved. The exhibition can be seen from June 15 and until October 2023.

In the exhibition, visitors will also meet two MARUM scientists: Prof. Elda Miramontes Garcia and Franziska Tell, who will talk about their research on climate.

MARUM is currently present in two more exhibitions:

Already since April and until October 2022, the "Jahrtausendturm" in Magdeburg shows the interactive exhibition "Meer Erleben". In seven exhibition modules, interested visitors can explore the oceans and learn, for example, about the deep sea, the nature of our planet, and the interaction between humans and the sea.

The secrets of the deep sea are the subject of the special exhibition of the same name at the "Schifffahrtsmuseum" in Rostock. Until May 2023, visitors can explore the deep sea themselves with a diving robot simulator.
