Following the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute and the specifications of the Bremen Senate, the entire University of Bremen, and thus also MARUM, is now working in a limited mode of operation. This means that the MARUM buildings are closed to the public and many of the staff work from home. They can be reached by e-mail and, in some cases, by telephone on their extension numbers.
Tours and events at MARUM are cancelled until further notice. As soon as the current mode is lifted, we will inform about it on the homepage. The aim is to help slow down the spread of the corona virus by this restricted mode and by closing the buildings. During this time, a few people at MARUM will take care of the safe condition of laboratories and equipment, for example.
