In an article which will be published tomorrow in the magazine “Forschung” of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft Prof. Antje Boetius portrays the aftermath of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. She particularly investigates the role of microorganisms in the decay of the oil sludge.
