Six organizations from the field of climate research and science-based climate communication - German Climate Consortium, German Meteorological Society, German Weather Service, Extreme Weather Congress Hamburg, Helmholtz Climate Initiative, klimafakten.de - have summarized the most important scientific findings on climate change. The fact paper with four chapters proves that the current global warming of about one degree compared to pre-industrial times is a fact and human action is the main reason. In this context, it addresses, among other things, sea level rise and ocean acidification.
