What does astronomy have in common with climate? What role do impact craters actually play? These and other questions will be answered during the "Explore Science" experience days. For the first time the Klaus Tschira Foundation invites kindergartens, schools and families to the Bremen Bürgerpark to undertake an adventure trip into the world of astronomy.

The topics in which the MARUM – Center for Marine Environmental Sciences at the University of Bremen also participates include "Astronomy and Climate", the great meteorite strike 66 million years ago, a rocket and aircraft workshop and a Mars mission. An overview of all offers can be found here (in German).

Explore, acquire knowledge and gather your own experience – that is the focus of the Explore Science workshops. School classes can register for the workshops from Monday, June 18, until August 17.

Tickets for the openign show are free of charge and available now. The programme and details of the free tickets can be found here (in German).

Further information and registration can be found here (in German).

Participation is free of charge. The Klaus Tschira Foundation supports the "Explore Science" experience days in Mannheim – and now also in Bremen.
