Chikyu 2010 expeditions

The Japanese deep-sea drilling vessel Chikyu will resume scientific expeditions for the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP) during the 2010 season. International science teams will explore the seismographic zone and sub-seafloor biosphere off Japan.
