Amazonian rain

Nov 1, 2016
A new study published in the online journal Scientific Reports shows how sea surface temperature changes over the equatorial Pacific triggered increased precipitation over western Amazonia about 18,000 years ago. For their study first author Yancheng Zhang from MARUM and his colleagues combined various climatic records of the past with computational models.
