In a paper, which was published in the current edition of Nature magazine, Gerrit Lohmann and co-workers use coupled climate models to show that rapid warming episodes during the last glacial were controlled by gradual changes in the height of ice sheets that covered Canada, Greenland, and Scandinavia during that period. more...
