Arrival by airplane
Bremen's international airport Hans Koschnick can be reached by direct flights from many destinations and the most important German and European hubs.
It is located in only 3.5 km distance from the city centre and has a good connection to public transport services: Tram no. 6 leaves right outside the the terminal and will bring you directly to the city centre (10 mins.) or the university (25 mins.).
Arrival by train
The main train station ("Bremer Hauptbahnhof") is located in the centre of the city. Trams and buses leave directly outside of the main entrance.
Tram no. 6 will take you to the university campus (approx. 15 minutes).
Travel within Bremen
Tickets can be bought on the trams (you will need change) and at some of the stations. Please note that tickets are not sold on busses.
