Nike Fuchs
After studying marine biology with a focus on paleoclimatology and ecology, Nike started her PhD thesis in the field of Biological Oceanography at the Alfred-Wegener-Institute, the Helmholtz-Centre for Polar and Marine Research. Before finishing her PhD, she decided to turn her back on science to join the private sector.
After professional development in transition management and sustainable city design, she worked for the municipal authorities in Bremerhaven as a climate protection manager.
Nike Fuchs is currently employed at the wind energy network WAB e.V. as an event manager, where she organizes and conducts various exhibitions and workshops, fostering the local network of industries related to wind energy.
