Registration and Fees
How to apply
To ensure a most effective training the maximum number of participants will be limited to 30. We aim to comprise a diverse group with participants from all status groups listed below. Closing date for registration was January 5, 2015.
Course Fees
The course fee depends on the career level, the sector (academia vs. industry) and the country the participants are affiliated to, namely its respective role in ECORD and IODP (see map to the right).

- PhD Students/Postdocs from ECORD countries: €50
- PhD Students/Postdocs from IODP countries: €100
- PhD Students/Postdocs from non-IODP countries: €120
- Senior Academics from ECORD/IODP countries: €150
- Industry Scientists: €300
The fee includes: lectures and lecture notes; coffee breaks; social dinner

Confirmation of acceptance
Successful applicants will be notified by e-mail about admission after mid-January, 2015. After receiving the acceptance letter, admitted participants will have to confirm their participation.
In case of withdrawal after March 1, 2015, you will have to pay 50% of the course fee.
