Hostels
A well suited accommodation place is the Hostel Townside that is located near the town centre. It is a good and inexpensive alternative to the hotels.
GLOMAR room reservation:
We reserved some 4-bed or 5-bed rooms and 2-bedrooms for 11 nights (21 September - 2 October 2014) for the participants of the ECORD Summer School.
Costs (per person) for 11 nights including bedding and coffee / tee in the morning :
4 or 5 bed room: 234 € plus 12 € tax
2 bed room: 278 € plus 12 € tax

Full breakfast has to be paid in addition: breakfast at the hostel
Also breakfast can be obtained from the "Café Central / University Mensa" in 3 minutes walking distance from the MARUM building.
Besides these arrangements there are other rooms available in the Hostel Townside. For booking rooms not reserved by GLOMAR you are kindly asked to contact the Hostel Townside (or any other hostel / hotel in Bremen) directly. If you refer to the group booking for the ECORD Summer School you will not have to pay in advance.
Meals
Lunch can be obtained from the University Mensa in 3 minutes walking distance from the MARUM building.
We will prepare guest cards for all students in order to offer you the food in the Mensa for students prices.
