For this first retreat all the PhDs and several of the Pis went together to Hude for scientific training and diverse group activities.
This retreats main goal was to contribute to becoming a team and to provide a basic knowledge of project management. PhDs became acquainted to the techniques of project monitoring and controlling and get the chance to interactively develop a common understanding of project management principles, methods and tools. The outdoor activity geocashing challenged the skills to work as a team and was pleasurable at the same time.
