Kick-off Meeting

16th December 2013, AWI, Bremerhaven

The kick-off meeting marked the official start of the german part of the International Graduate School ArcTrain. The german coordination team,consisting of Michal Kucera, Maren Walter and Ruediger Stein, welcomed the first twelve ArcTrain PhD students. The introduction about the projects scope and aims was followed by a lecture about "Climate Change - The role of high northern latitudes" by Prof. Peter Lemke. The ArcTrain students introduced themselves to the audience and were taken on a tour through the institute. The meeting was concluded with a reception and an informal get-together in the foyer of the institute.
