Information for visitors to the BCR

We welcome all visitors, including those with a scientific purpose as well as the interested public who want to learn more about the Ocean Drilling Program or the geosciences program in Bremen. School and other special groups are also welcome by appointment.

Young future researchers of the 3Sat/ZDF nanoCamp visit the BCR.

3. Make an appointment
Please make an appointment with us after submitting the sample request, but before making travel arrangements. We have sufficient facilities for multiple visitors but there are times that are particularly popular - university semester breaks, for example - when it may be inconvenient for us to take on additional guests.

Our normal operation hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
