RV SENCKENBERG
The Research Cutter Senckenberg's home is Wilhelmshaven, at the department for marine research of the Research Institute Senckenberg.
The "Senckenberg" works primarily in the North and Baltic Sea, including the Waddensea as well the Channel and the Irish Sea. It has an operating range of about 2000 nautical miles and can stay at sea for 10 to 14 days at a time.
