    Discover and experience Bremen’s key attractions
    that includes the idyllic Schnoor Quarter and Böttcherstrasse. Let yourself be enchanted by stories on patrician buildings round the Market Square, the city’s history and local residents and take a picture of the Town Hall and Roland statue (UNESCO World Heritage Site).



    Schnoor Quarter
    This is the surviving old city quarter consisting of a medieval network of winding alleys and narrow streets. Once, this part of the city was populated by river fishermen, artisans and traders. Now it is the home of exclusive shops, nostalgic pubs, restaurants and cosy cafés. A lovingly restored part of the city with a history that dates back to the 13th century. The houses which have survived were built around 1500.

    The scenic Worpswede is approximately 28 kilometres away from Bremen. In the late 19th century the farming community developed into an artists’ colony. Today artists and craft people still live and work in Worpswede displaying their works in various local exhibitions, studios and galleries. During your stay you will visit two exhibitions/galleries.
