Multi-Sensor Core Logger
Responsible Scientist
Dr Ursula Röhl
The Multi-Sensor Core Logger (GEOTEK) is an automated system that can measure bulk density (GRA density), P-wave velocity and magnetic susceptibility down whole and split cores of sediment or rock. Additionally, a line scan camera (GEOSCAN II) for colour and image analyses is available. All measurements are non-destructive and can be made at high resolution (up to 2 mm).
