Overview
As an important part of the Research Center Ocean Margins, an educational programme for PhD students is added to the research projects. The goal of the PhD programme is to establish a qualified study beyond the level of a Master of Science / Diplom degree, to define international research goals, and to carry out mutually determined research projects with partner institutes. Under the frame of the European Graduate College in Marine Sciences (ECOLMAS) a joint curriculum related to marine sciences is offered to graduate students and scientists from the participating organizations and from other institutions associated with marine research and education.
