A New German Research Vessel

On Friday, April 12th, the keel for the new German research vessel SONNE was laid down in the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg. The new, 116 metres long deep sea research vessel will be delivered in January 2015. It will mainly be deployed in the Pacific and the Indian Ocean. more...
