Research topics
Main topic of my research is the development of the African vegetation in association with climatic change.
To this end, I study pollen and spores from marine cores and sediment samples.
Much of my work covers the Late Pleistocene glacial-interglacial cycle, but I am also interested in the Late Pliocene and Early Pleistocene.
